Women's basketball loses in OT

The University of Maine at Farmington women's basketball team fell short at Plymouth State University this afternoon as the Beavers suffered an 80-72 overtime setback in non-conference action.

Caitlyn Laflin (Farmingdale, ME) and Ashley Busque (Belgrade, ME) scored 20 and 19 points, respectively, for the Beavers, who slipped to 3-8 with a trip to Maine Maritime Academy scheduled for Tuesday.

Women's basketball blitzed by Bowdoin

The University of Maine at Farmington women's basketball team was handled by Bowdoin College 78-41 in non-conference action tonight at Dearborn Gymnasium.

Ashley Busque (Belgrade, ME) led Farmington with 11 points as the Beavers dropped to 3-7 and are scheduled to visit Plymouth State University Thursday. Story
